Kim, Deok-Kyu - Team Captain
Born in 1965, Chef Kim set foot in the baking industry in 1980, opening the Green House Bakery in Gimhae, Gyeongnam in 1993. He is currently working as the owner chef of Patisserie Kim Deok Kyu - a store and workshop with 17 staff members.
Chef Kim has achieved 6 awards in various contests between 1995 and 2000, starting with the 1995 Seoul Int’l Bakery Fair, and obtained Master Craftsman Confectionery Making in 2002. He also worked as a professor of baking and confectionery for 4 years from 2002 -2005 during which time he was honored with a Best Teaching Award and saw his students achieve excellent results in student contests.
