Carlos Salazar - Captain
Carlos Salazar is the Executive Pastry Chef at the MGM Grand Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada where he oversees 18 restaurants as well as banquet facilities for up to 7,000 guests. He has worked at such prestigious hotels as the Bellagio and Rio Hotels in Las Vegas; the San Francisco Fairmont Hotel; the Four Ambassadors Hotel, the Grand Bay Hotel, the Doral Resort & Country Club and the Breakers Resort in South Florida.
Chef Carlos has been actively competing in numerous events over the years. A few of his more recent accomplishments include– the Silver Medal overall as well as the Best Pastry Degustation and Best Chocolate/Sugar Showpiece at the 2008 National Bread and Pastry Team Championship, the Gold Medal for Best Sugar Showpiece, the Gold Medal for Best Chocolate Creation and the Bronze Medal for Best Ice Creation at the the2007 Coupe du Monde, France (Team placed 4th Overall), the Silver Medal & Best Table Presentation Award at the 2005 National Pastry Team Championship in Phoenix, AZ; and he won the New Star Chef Search during the National Pastry Competition in Beaver Creek, Colorado in 2000.

Marco Cossio
Marco Cossio is currently the Pastry Chef for Ark Restaurants Corp. at New York New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has worked in different Hotels, Casinos, Restaurants, and retail bakeries and attended many advanced classes and special culinary art programs in different parts of the country. At the age of 28, he opened his own bakery, “The Gourmet Cake Factory” in Las Vegas, catering several distinctive local hotels such as Caesars Palace, Paris Hotel, Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, Luxor, Mirage, Treasure Island; just to mention a few.
His work has been published and recognized in different national and international magazines such as, International Restaurant Show Magazine, Las Vegas Food Art Magazine, Sweet Art Magazine (Germany), Las Vegas Food and Beverage, Las Vegas Review Journal and also achieved several awards:
Bronze Metal Award ACF Las Vegas Challenge, Pastry Competition, 2003; Silver Metal Award ACF Las Vegas Challenge, Pastry Competition, 2003; Gold Metal Award ACF Pastry Masterpiece Competition in Las Vegas, 2004; and Gold Metal Award, Best of Show, ACF National Pastry Masterpiece Championship in Las Vegas, 2005.

Yoni Mora
Yoni Mora is the Executive Pastry Chef for ARK Restaurants Inc. ARK operates 20+ outlets in Las Vegas alone at such fine hotels as Caesars Palace at the Forum Shops, the Venetian Hotel Casino, New York New York and Planet Hollywood Hotel Casino. Yoni is also responsible for ARK’s full service offsite bakery operation at Columbus Bakery. Chef Yoni is based in Las Vegas at New York New York and personally oversees the pastry operation for the property’s fine dining restaurants in ARK’s portfolio.
Chef Yoni has been actively competing in numerous events coast to coast for over 20 years. Chef Yoni's second passion is woodworking. He integrates his love for woodworking into his pastry competitions by designing and creating the bases for his showpieces.
